The only clearly identifiable tooth appears to be the one in the upper right. This was claimed to be that of Fellenz. However, dental records did not match this tooth as stated in the Dental Summary.

The other teeth for the most part appear worn almost to the gum line. This was very common for POWs, since part of their food contained some amount of abrasive particles and some was eaten raw from the fields. Over time their teeth would undergo extensive wear. If these tooth fragments were actually from members of the crew, how could they have undergone such extensive wear?
